Giving Thanks

It's shaping up to be a gorgeous Thanksgiving weekend, with my family arriving today, and the menu coming together with ease.  I surfed endless recipes, but in the end, decided on sources that I have cooked from before, and trust.

Here is our menu...
Turkey, cooked on the grille with this butter
Mashed potatoes (I'll be cutting back on the butter!)
Gravy
Sweet potato casserole
Green salad (aversion of this, minus the millet)
Sourdough rolls from our local bakery
Pumpkin cheesecake

Our friends are bringing pies, amazing turkey meatballs for appetizers, and a Brussels sprout and mushroom dish to round out the menu.  Just typing this is making me hungry!
Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy, hearty Thanksgiving.  I'd love to hear what you'll be serving!

Yuuuuuuuum! That sweet potato casserole is almost the same as what my mom has made for years and it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good!

Wow, that menu sounds amazing (and what GORGEOUS flowers!). We're going the untraditional route this year, which I'm a little sad about, so I'm living vicariously through all the scrumptious TG meal posts floating around online this week :).

We are going to a Thanksgiving Potluck and I am bringing roasted Cinderella Pumpkin and Cranberry Ginger Punch. I grew the pumpkin and will send a photo via email. Enjoy the day with your family in Providence--one of my favorite cities
