Campus Tour

Being able to live near a college campus as beautiful as Brown's is probably one of the reasons I love Providence as much as I do.  There is something about the youthful vibe, and scholarly potential wafting through the air, that makes the entire town seem to vibrate with energy.  I also find the college offers us a wealth of activities.
Just this past week, when the weather was summer-like, we spent every afternoon on 'The Green' (which is the main green space at Brown, surrounded by campus buildings).  The students were out in droves, doing homework, hanging with their friends, playing Frisbee, and strumming on various instruments.  Brown students are nothing if not quirky, so they have various clubs, like the juggling club, and pirate club, that are both hilarious, and highly entertaining.  Vijay likes to act as though he owns the place, and strolls right up to the kids, takes their juggling balls, and demands their attention. Needless to say, he has his own fan club by now.
By the time the evening air sweeps in, we throw on our sweatshirts, and head home...and Vijay usually can't stop smiling...
Add that to the fact that campus during springtime is simply gorgeous...and you have pretty much the perfect place to live.  We feel very lucky, this time of year especially, to call Providence our home!

Brown looks gorgeous! I went to Columbia, and being in the city, there wasn't a whole lot of green to be seen. Always great to see pics of Vijay, he's such a happy baby : )
