Just the Two of Us
Squam was absolutely magical, and, I'll admit it...totally exhausting too. Coming at it from a different angle, that of a teacher, was an interesting experience. It was quite a bit to juggle, even with all of the wonderful support that my mom provided. I would rush home from morning class to spend lunch with Vijay, and do the same for dinner. We have never spent that much time away from each other, so it was a tearful reunion each and every time. He would just melt into me, wanting to be held, cuddled and nursed. He was afraid to take his eyes off of me...for fear that I would leave again.
So today we are back home, spending time together, just the two of us. I have so much more to say...but there are greater needs demanding my attention. To see my little one today, clinging to me for dear life, you would think I just returned from an epic journey. It's all a matter of perspective, wouldn't you agree?!

You're right, it's so nice to be reminded that sometimes doing nothing is most important. Enjoy!
