Big City, Little Shopper
Seriously...this week flew by in the blink of an eye, and it was chock full of good stuff. Wednesday found us packing up and heading to Philadelphia for a short business trip. I was fortunate enough to connect with the amazing Kayte Terry, whom I met at Squam just a few weeks ago, and we chatted about all things creative. She works as a visual director for Anthropologie- so I trusted her style enough to let her guide me to the best shopping spots around town!
She suggested that little Vijay and I take a stroll through Old Town, where we were completely taken with the cobblestone streets, charming shop fronts, and historic sights. Of course we started our journey with a quick Anthropologie stop. Their Philly store is located in an old, historic building in Rittenhouse Square- a very cool browsing experience. Can you spot my helpful little shopping buddy in the last picture? He was such a trooper, enduring a couple hours in the stroller before he busted loose and had some fun at a cute little park that we happened upon. A few notes from our day: colorful stores will buy you some time with your little shopper, but colorful berries within arms length from the stroller, but forbidden by mama, might result in a mini-tantrum!

wow, such a dream job! little getaways are so fun. that paper is gorgeous too. love all the colors.
Just last month I visited Philly, same district & I absolutely fell in love! If you need a travel partner for your next trip there ... ;0)
