Closet Confidential
I am starting to play around a bit with Polyvore...a little late to the game, and a little slow with the learning curve, hence the many random posts that went up on my blog yesterday, but I have figured it out, and I am loving it.
I have made it a goal this fall to start putting some thought into what I wear. This past year, with the craziness of having a newborn, I have fallen into a bit of a rut when it comes to my wardrobe. Summer let me off the hook- how easy is it to throw on cute jersey dresses?! But fall will require a bit more thought- matching pants and shirts...sounds overwhelming!
I guess this seems a bit vain, as far as goals go, but I think it is more about feeling like my old self again (although, to be honest, my old self was never that pulled together to begin with). So...fall it is...the season of being pulled together! We'll see if I can stick to it for more than a week!

I have been scouring the web for cheaper versions of this sandal. Love the style... it would go with EVERYTHING!
I have the same goal, friend! Maybe that means we need to treat ourselves to a little solo shopping trip?!
It's been a while since I've been reading your blog and made it till you got your new camera! I almost check in everyday to see what you've posted and you know what? I bought my new camera too.. I am into fashion and I almost loved your selections today! Why haven't you joined facebook and create a page so we stay updated on your new posts? Just a suggestion.. let me know :)
Hi Ash...welcome back! I have resisted joining facebook or twitter, as I have a hard enough time handling my blog and email. I am trying to balance the time I spend on the computer, with all of my other activities.
Besides, I would hate for all my old high school classmates to track me down and "friend" me...ugh! I have come a long way since then and I would rather not go back- hehe.
I resisted joining facebook myself until the last few months I made a page. A page works fine, you don't have to invest a lot of time in it but grow your community with likes and somehow the readers increase. And yes, high school friends coming back is such a bummer for me too. I made the mistake of using my real name to make my own profile and somehow they started being the same old jerks, a lot of drama till I finally un-friend them. pages work fine but not profiles as per my experience. We are on the same page and I have shared your site a lot of times before.
I learned a lot from you. I see how much you live each day, the baby and all that and how you've gone better and better. On top of that you take care of yourself so well.Self employed is cool but time flows like anything. I try not to spend a lot of time on the lappy but somehow get pulled in with facebook because I got a lovely set of sites I follow and each update gets me pulled to check it out. And since my job is more or less have to support customers... kinda like a professional adviser so I get chat calls without without the time range because its international and it sucks me in so badly. Having time frames is not easy to maintain.. you mentioned that in your previous posts and I agree completely. We don't have time, we have to make time! Love ya!
