Vijay's First Photo Shoot

I had to pop in to share these pictures with you.  I can't get over how cute they are, though I'm sure I am a bit biased!  I was visiting my parents a few weeks ago, and a little shop in town, Root and Sprout, was offering free photo sessions with the amazing Kate Neville.  The free spots had filled up right away, but we stopped in the day before, and there had just been a cancellation...and so we were given a coveted spot!

I have to admit...I wasn't sure what to expect.  I imagined that getting a baby to smile on command wasn't the easiest thing in the world.  But Kate has a very special way with little ones.  Vijay was an absolute ham in front of the camera, flashing his gummy smile left and right, even collapsing in a fit of giggles...and Kate managed to capture it all!  Not only that, but she brought some super cute props, including the blankets and hats that you see here!  The green hat was a bit of a stretch over his big noggin', but we made it work!  Given these adorable results, if you ever find yourself in need of a fabulous Michigan photographer, I highly recommend Kate!

Anyway...thanks for indulging me...I just had to share!  Now, back to vacation!
