There is nothing like coming home for the holidays. The house is decked out in its holiday finest, my mom's collection of Christmas tunes are on constant rotation, and holiday baking is the only thing on our to-do list.

Yes indeed...we are sinking deeply into this festive season.

Tomorrow my parents have planned a Sip 'n See, where all of our friends and family are coming to 'sip' festive drinks and 'see' the new baby. They only invited about 100 of their closest friends. Proud grandparents? To say the least!

What about the little man, you ask? Well he hasn't been put down since we arrived, and he is seriously loving the attention, hamming it up whenever he has the chance!

A little side note: I had completely forgotten about these star ornaments that I made for my mom a few years ago from
this tutorial. If you are in need of a last minute gift...
these sew up super fast and look beautiful on the tree!
I love your little star ornament idea!
You know what's funny? I took a second look at the tree photo before moving on because the felt stars caught my eye (I still need an ornament for my parents.) And look, there you linked to the how-to. Thank you very much; now I know what I'll be doing Christmas Eve while waiting for the kids to fall asleep. Your little guy is just so precious. God bless you all.
A baby makes the holiday that much brighter. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
When I was a baby and my parents would go to my grandparents' house, my grandmother would pop me in the stroller and take me to show off to her friends the second we got there. My mother would be in the driveway, calling, "Mom? Mom? I'm here too!"
Ah, grandparents.
I am new to your blog but wanted to tell you I love all your decorations
I just found your blog. I really like the star ornaments and your baby is adorable!
i miss you! :) and i can't wait to hear about the sip'n'see. (such a cute concept).
