The Pumpkin Patch

Crafting for the little one
I just couldn't resist...I mean, he is going to be a Halloween baby, right? I am very late to the party here, but I finally joined Ravelry. Ummm...why didn't anyone tell me that it's the best thing ever? There are a ton of free patterns, and enough knitting inspiration to motivate even the laziest knitter (that would be me). I think I have found my calling knitting baby hats...it takes about 2 hours start to finish, and they are so small and cute when completed. What could be better?
Crafting for the little one
I am going to try and finish up these abandoned baby booties this weekend. I stalled out when the pattern became a little intimidating, but really, that was back in June...its time to get over it! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

How could I have been so remiss in not mentioning to you the best thing ever? I love Ravelry! Have fun. Great pumpkin hat.

My best friend from college just pointed me to ravelry, too, since I just picked up the crochet hook again (and am completely consumed with it. Which is why I am not even going to think about the knitting needles - one habit is enough).

I'm going to make some stuffed animals for my friend's new little one and his big sister.

Very cute hat! I love that pattern. It easily turns into so many other fruits or veggies with a little color alteration and some small changes to the stitches.

Hello! I just found your blog recently and am also expecting a baby very soon (ours will be a Thanksgiving baby, though). Love the little hat and all the sweet baby things you've been making! Best wishes for bringing your little boy into the world!
