I just couldn't resist...I mean, he is going to be a Halloween baby, right? I am very late to the party here, but I finally joined
Ravelry. Ummm...why didn't anyone tell me that it's the best thing ever? There are a ton of free patterns, and enough knitting inspiration to motivate even the laziest knitter (that would be me). I think I have found my calling knitting baby hats...it takes about 2 hours start to finish, and they are so small and cute when completed. What could be better?

I am going to try and finish up these abandoned
baby booties this weekend. I stalled out when the pattern became a little intimidating, but really, that was back in June...its time to get over it! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
How could I have been so remiss in not mentioning to you the best thing ever? I love Ravelry! Have fun. Great pumpkin hat.
My best friend from college just pointed me to ravelry, too, since I just picked up the crochet hook again (and am completely consumed with it. Which is why I am not even going to think about the knitting needles - one habit is enough).
I'm going to make some stuffed animals for my friend's new little one and his big sister.
Very cute hat! I love that pattern. It easily turns into so many other fruits or veggies with a little color alteration and some small changes to the stitches.
Hello! I just found your blog recently and am also expecting a baby very soon (ours will be a Thanksgiving baby, though). Love the little hat and all the sweet baby things you've been making! Best wishes for bringing your little boy into the world!
So cute!! I love ravelry too.
oh, it looks tooo cute on that elephant!
btw, I'm a fellow knitter and your work is beautiful!

Athena

Visiting your blog for the first time, thanks to "6th street". Those hats are so cute! I have a blog post from this week called "Pumpkin Patch" as well, but it's real pumpkins :)
