Christmas Comes Early

Last week was a whirlwind of Christmas decorating here at the Chitnis household. Yes...you heard that right, Christmas decorating! Think cookies, garland, ornaments and a 7-foot Christmas tree (I won't even get into the details of how you go about getting a Christmas tree in September...we will leave that for another day!).
You see, our home won the Holiday with Matthew Mead contest, meaning we were honored with a visit from stylist extraordinaire Matthew Mead and his charming assistant Sally. They styled our home for the holidays using amazing accessories and a bright, citrus palette.
The results were stunning, I must admit, and I wish I could show you everything. But...you know how these things work! The full spread will appear in Matthew's Holiday magazine (you can buy your copy here). In the meantime, all I can show you are these little glimpses, taken by Matthew, which will give you the slightest idea of how colorful and festive our home looked. I wish I could have left everything untouched until Christmas time, because with a brand new baby, holiday decorating might not be high on my list of priorities this December...which makes our September Christmas all the more special!
