I am visiting my dear friend
Elizabeth in New Hampshire this week, fitting in a
few markets here and there. It is so good to reconnect, as this summer has been a busy one for both of us. Just a few weeks ago, we were lamenting the fact that we never have time to talk...and so a few uninterrupted days together....bliss.
And speaking of bliss... Elizabeth's new home feels like a gorgeous cottage in the South of France, surrounded by beautiful farm land, lakes, waterfalls and fields of wild flowers.
It is a truly a slice of heaven. With her delicate touch, she has managed to turn a once outdated apartment into a bright, comfortable, sophisticated abode.
Oh...and speaking of abode's, I can let you all in on a little secret, now that the announcement has gone live. My home won the contest over at
Holiday with Matthew Mead...meaning Matthew and his team are coming to style and shoot my home in September for their
holiday magazine. AMAZING. This is a dream come true, to have my house professionally styled for a magazine...and to get it in before the baby/wrecking ball comes along...priceless! Just in the nick of time!
