With
Squam Art Workshops registration in our midst, the Summit Sisters (my cabin mates from last fall) decided that it was high time to get back to our journal swap. Needless to say, our project fell to the wayside during the busy holiday months. But here we are, coming to it with fresh energy. The theme for this month....red, of course!

I am sure not everyone went as heart-crazy as I did, but hey...if you are going to do red during the month of February, what do you expect? I had fun antiquing the crisp white page with a tea bag, and then I got to work cutting, pasting, stamping and gluing. I am quite happy with the way that it turned out...now off it goes for another sister to put her mark on!

So is anyone else out there as heart*crazy as I am? I would love to see/hear what is inspiring you this Valentine's Day!
I'm heart crazy about you! love, Mom
I heart hearts!!! <3 This is a great idea putting things you love in a journal. I think I might just start one today for myself! Your journal is perfect!
Red is my favorite color, especially against white. It flashes "Happy! Happy!"
Love the hearts, too!

wonderful!
I love Anthropologie catalogs! They're one of my favorite resources for collaging. The colors, shapes, themes, and creative playfulness inspire me.
I'm completely heart crazy this Valentines Day. I've always enjoyed the holiday but for some reason this year I'm really focused on it.
I've "rediscovered" the hearts I have available on one of my cricut cartridgesand have been wildly cutting heats out of every scrap of paper I have in reds, pinks and purples.
