RISD Tour

Nature Lab

I hope you enjoyed this behind-the-scenes tour of RISD. Taking this tour reminded me of how lucky we are to have this amazing resource, right here in our own backyard. It is high-time I made use of it, don't you think?!
Next week will be completely dedicated to Valentine's Day projects. I will be posting a craft project every single day starting on Monday...hope to see you then. Have a fantastic weekend!

Wow! It is very cool to see what's behind some of those doors I see all over Providence. I've thought about continuing ed classes there for a while, but haven't taken the plunge. This gives some extra motivation! Thanks!
this is so cool!
you're so lucky to live near something like this, I'm not sure if we have anything like this buy me.
i can't wait to see your valentine's projects as well :)
Oh, letter-press. I don't know about being a RISD student though - those kids work WAY to hard. Continuing-ed seems like just the thing.
oooh my goodness! what a treat. those butterflies! i'm taking a course at RISD next semester--hoping I can get someone to take me on a tour! thank you so much for sharing. your blog is lovely. all my best, erin
oh my oh my - a treat indeed - a feast for the eyes - intoxicating - wiping the drool off my chin now ;) Thanks for the tour!
amazing photos. i kind of wish i could go back to school!
that place looks like creativity HEAVEN!
I took continuing ed classes at RISD for almost 3 years...mostly interior design stuff but I loved that nature lab more than anything...it's amazing! Glad you discovered it!
I was so surprised (and thrilled) to run across your risd post! I graduated from risd in 2004 and your post made me feel all gooey nostalgic! I love your photos of the nature lab, as an illustration student I spent WAAAYYY too much time in there - of course now I miss it dreadfully!
