The Today Show
Check out my segment on The Today Show here...I almost died watching it this morning because I look AWFUL in the interview...my hair is sticking up all over the place as if I just rolled out of bed. Awesome, nothing like having bed head while on national t.v.!
You can also view the footage on my website...just click here!
Christine...I saw this segment on TV and imagine my surprise when I recognized your name. I read you blog all the time!
I just wanted to tell you how so very sorry I am of your loss. I too understand what you are going through. I am currently on my 11th pregnancy and this will be my fourth child. It does not matter whether it happens at 8 weeks or at 5 months - the loss is there and the feelings are real. All I can tell you is to keep your chin up and move forward. With every new day, something better will come. We have four (almost) healthy children (ages 23 to almost here) and every one worth all that we had to go through!
Take care and keep your hopes and dreams alive!
Just lovely- you looked just lovely. And your words- on your blog and on the Today show were just right.
Oh wow. You did such an amazing job. I'm beyond impressed with how well you spoke on such a tough subject.
Christine,
I just saw the show and thought you did great. You spoke with confidence about a very tough topic. How inspiring.
So well done, Christine! You were eloquent, strong and lovely... it's hard to see yourself as others do, so trust me. You are all that. Thank you for helping the subject of miscarriage to come out of the shadows. It's only in sharing our grief that we can find healing... so keeping it under wraps is never a healthy choice.
All of my love,
Maya
