Crochet
Oh yes, ladies and gents, I followed through on my New Year's Resolution and learned to crochet. Okay, well I am learning to crochet...I am by no means an expert yet! For my first project, I am crocheting a blanket. I am in love with the yarn that I chose, the colors are so amazing and the texture is so cuddly and soft! If anyone around the Providence area wants to learn to crochet, I have the best teacher! Sandy teaches me out of her home and provides patient instruction and hilarious stories. The hours fly by while we sit in her kitchen and craft. It is the highlight of my week!
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend...I will be scouring Craigslist for furniture for our new home and selecting paint chips. The big move is a mere 20 days away...yikes! What will you be up to this weekend?!
you b*&#h!
Dear readers,
Can you believe how bitter Sarah is??? This is because she chose a very difficult crochet project that she will NEVER finish and I am already half-way done with mine. Don't be a hater, Sarah.
hehe!!
Congratulations on learning how to crochet! I think it is a faboulous craft and you can do so many cute things with it. Luckily I learned the basics as a kid. But I am also NO expert at all. But I think that is the neat thing about it - you don't have to be an expert in order to make cute stuff!
Keep on going!!! And good luck for your project! Am curious how it will turn out.
Good work! I've been learning to crochet too and I've found it so enjoyable. I think it's a good one to learn because once you know a few stitches, you can already make loads of different things. Those really are lovely colours as well, I love those shades together.
I love the yarn you have chosen! What is it? The colors are great! I work in my LYS, and can knit but the crochet hook sort of intimidates me-I have tried but instead of a single crochet I come out with hexagons or something! Great job!
