Brightening Up The Day

It seems that when the days are the darkest, I am drawn to pictures filled with color and light, like this one from the portfolio of Selina Lake.  I guess I am also feeling drawn to this picture because my husband and I are planning a trip to India in late March.  He is going there for business and I am going to tag along.  He loves telling me about the vivid colors of the marketplaces, with stalls of spices, saris, bangles and textiles.  Can you imagine the loot I will be hauling back with me!  Oh, I can't wait to share!

I love those shoes. I would love to have a pair in every color that God has created. They are so beautiful to look at! Keep surrounding yourself with things that make you smile...Like thinking of your trip. Oh, I'm going with you, in case you didn't know...:)

I am new to reading your blog, but you have not left my thoughts-I am so happy that the darkest days are gaining some color. Your trip sounds so very exciting! I cannot imagine the excitement you must be feeling-oh the colors, sounds and smells will be wonderful!
