Grand Opening!

I am so beyond excited to announce the opening of my online shop, carrying my handmade collection of Indian wedding elephants: the *hathi collection. Hathi is the Hindi word for elephant and an appropriate name for this collection, since I was inspired by the mystical being that is the Indian wedding elephant. Elaborately decorated with stunning fabrics and jewels, the wedding elephant is used to transport the bride or groom to their wedding party. Imagine a street filled with wedding guests, dressed in their colorful sari's, hands painted in henna, waving and cheering as a bejeweled beast brings the bride to her groom. This is the spirit that is captured in this intricate collection of stuffed elephants.Because each item is handmade, which is a time consuming endeavor, the shop will be updated once a month with anywhere from 5-10 softies.
