My New Craft Area
Inspired by readers comments, I have recommitted myself to crafting and in preperation of that, I set up a new craft area today. Let me tell you, carving out a 'new space' in a one bedroom is a challenge, so here is my creative solution. I turned my writing desk into a sewing area since I prefer writing at the kitchen table anyway. Then I hung a canvas shoe holder on the back of our bedroom door and filled it with all of my fabric and knitting supplies! I am pretty happy with the results!

Hello, I enjoyed your comment about carving out a craft area and renewing yourself to crafting. I recently went on a sewing retreat and am trying to keep the spirit alive.
I realized that my creative idea-ing took place in my office/den whereas the creative "action" took place in the basement. So why are all the idea books/collections in the basement? They got moved upstairs.
Anyway...I'm just beginning to blog and wondering what to put out there. I enjoyed your blog.
